Valerie is a Lead Data Scientist at BlueLabs, where she specializes in survey methodology and predictive modeling. Valerie works with clients to understand how they can serve supporters, members or customers better and more efficiently by leveraging data and analytics. Valerie has experience working with a wide array of clients in the political, financial, retail and non-profit sectors. Specifically, Valerie has designed and analyzed complex consumer marketing experiments and survey research projects for Fortune 100 companies, HealthCare.Gov and progressive campaigns. In addition to external work, Valerie is involved in developing and refining BlueLabs’ internal survey methodology and analytical techniques.
Prior to joining BlueLabs, Valerie graduated magna cum laude from Harvard College with a B.A. in Statistics. Valerie won the Thomas T. Hoopes award for her outstanding undergraduate senior thesis for which she worked with the Director of Harvard University Health Services, the Chair of the Department of Statistics and Harvard’s Institutional Research group to improve the collection of data about the Harvard population’s health needs and make better-informed decisions about health and wellness resource allocation. Valerie also served as a Teaching Fellow in a variety of statistics courses with applications in finance and medicine.
